
About Dr. Schwartz
Pepper Schwartz, Ph.D, received her doctorate from Yale University, and
is presently a tenured Professor of Sociology at the University of Washington.
She's dedicated over 31 years of scientific research to co-develop the Duet®

to helping people find real love and long-lasting relationships.
A leading relationship authority, Dr. Schwartz is the author of
15 books, including "American
Couples," "The Love Test," "Everything You Know about Love
and Sex is Wrong" and "Finding Your Perfect Match." She's written
more than 40 scholarly articles and contributes to such publications as The New
York Times, Lifetime Magazine and Psychology Today. In
2005, Dr. Schwartz won a national award from the American Sociological Association
for Public Understanding of Sociology. Dr. Schwartz is also the past President
of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality.
Dr. Schwartz appears frequently on television, including "Oprah," "The
Today Show," "Dateline NBC," "Good Morning America," "Dr.
Phil" and CNN. She's also the Romance Travel Consultant for Peter Greenberg's
syndicated radio show, "Travel Today."
